Had a great time with the local Mythopoetic Society chapter Chrickhollow yesterday. The group was kind enough to read and discuss ‘Crop Burner’.
Our bookclub had its yearly celebration of Bilbo and Frodo’s birthday yesterday. We discussed ‘Akallabêth’ and ‘Of the Rings of Power and the Third Age’ from ‘The Silmarilion’. It was a wonderful discussion. It’s amazing to revisit the world building work that Tolkien did. I need to reread ‘The Silmarillion’ again; it has been about 20 years since I last
